5 for Haiti
District 2 Schools will be participating in a 5 day raising aid relief for Haiti from January 18 – 22nd. The idea is that each school (18,000 staff and students) raise/donate $5+ . The goal is for District 2 to raise $90,000+ to be sent to the Red Cross. Riverview Middle School is asking all students to bring in $5.00+ throughtout this week, plus we will be doing other incentives in effort to raise more money. Your support is greatly appreciated. Haiti has suffered a magnitude-7 earthquake which has flattened much of the capital of two million people including hospitals and schools..... they need our help! WE can make a difference when we act as “one”!
